Welcome to the new Era of Experience Blog
March 29, 2015
Well a big hell to you all - As An Era of Experience will soon be 3 years old ( gulp!) we thought it was about time to write a blog and share in more detail what #TeamEra gets up to.
Our new blog will share our real hen parties, #TeamEra's adventures in vintage land and top tips & advice from our experts on adding a touch of vintage glamour to your life.
It's hard to believe that 3 years have flown by so quickly, it just shows how time really does fly when you are having fun! And we've had a lot of fun with a lot of fantastic hens from all over the UK - we even had a bridesmaid fly in from Australia to make one of our parties as a suprise to the Bride to be - that was an emotional one!
We've packed up our teapots, crafting kits, make up bags & curling tongs and travelled all over the region - we've even hosted a party in a vintage boutique!
In April 2014 our vintage queen of style Miss Bethany Jane Davies opened the doors to her new simply gorgeous old Hollywood styled parlour in Manchester, so now our guests can come to us too.
We've held era themed parties from every decade but the most popular years have always been 1920-1950s. We've had Hens who love the glamour & decadance of the 1920s, creating flapper headbands
And feathery headwear
We've had re-created the glamour of 1930's Hollywood and those on screen red hot lips
Wartime chic with 1940's Victory Rolls
And hens love the a bit of 1950s rock & roll
It's really a dream job for TeamEra - each party means we get to spend an afternoon in one of our favourite decades and being part of such memorable celebrations in our clients lives is always special to us.
We have also been blessed with wonderful Hens who truly get into the spirit of their experience - including one Mother of the Groom who for this party made all the hens vintage aprons to wear - we just loved this!
Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned for more real life hen parties soon.
